Are you a fellow Sam’s Club Junkie who’s always looking for new finds? Then this Sam’s Club haul is right up your alley! From produce to household items, this Sam’s Club haul will give you a cart full of must-tries and must-haves! (This post is not sponsored by or affiliated with Sam’s Club or with any of the brands mentioned.)
Sam’s Club is known for three things: 1. bulk items, 2. great deals, 3. and of course, their jumbo rotisserie chickens! A trip to Sam’s Club can take several hours, especially if you wander around and get lost in their maze of wonders you never knew you needed. I’m going to try to make your trip a little shorter by highlighting some of my favorite must-haves that I never leave without.
Follow along and stick around as I share every item I bought this week in my Sam’s Club Haul!
This post is all about my most recent Sam’s Club haul.
Inflation
First things first… let’s address inflation. As the prices of everything continues to rise to unreasonable amounts, being able to live comfortably is getting further and further out of reach. The price of any given grocery item is too high, and it doesn’t take much to spend $300 a week on groceries. Needless to say, many people see the value in places like Sam’s Club, and marvel at how much money they can save. Sam’s Club has incredible products with even more incredible prices, and if you play your cards right, you can save hundreds of dollars in a year’s time.
Storage
You know you’re a crazy person when you’re at Sam’s and think, “Hmmm, I wish their carts were bigger.” Even with their huge carts, it doesn’t seem to take long to fill them! The problem with that is your purchases look a lot smaller in that huge warehouse than they do when you unload them into your home! The one caveat of Sam’s Club is that you need storage for all of the bulk items. I live in a 1,000 square foot home, with minimal storage. I’ve gotten very crafty with where to store all of my bulk purchases. Between storage bins in closets and stuffing cabinets to their full capacity, I maximize the space I do have. Even if you live in a smaller home, you can still take advantage of Sam’s Club!
Variety
Sam’s Club is your one-stop-shop for food, household items, outdoor accessories, toiletries, glasses, jewelry, and… tires. It literally has it all. Sam’s Club is the #1 place I buy all of our needed items, and I often end up purchasing a variety of different things. In this post, I will categorize my purchases, so you can skip to the ones that most interest you if you prefer. This haul is limited to just what I bought this week… every week is different!
Sam’s Club Haul
Without further ado, let’s get into it! This haul will consist of three categories: 1. Groceries, 2. Household, and 3. Toiletries.
1. Groceries
Snack Mix
I know I’m not the only one on the perpetual hunt for decently healthy snacks. I’m a grazer… I like to snack throughout the day, but don’t want to feel unhealthy. I’ve had my eye on these Yoggies for a few weeks now, and decided to give them a try. They’re packed with a ton of healthy stuff, are filling, and yummy! Plus, who wouldn’t want a little guilt-free afternoon snack?
This was a not-so-healthy choice. But my husband loves Oreos, so I knew I had to get these for a Friday night treat!
I’ll admit it: I’m a dried cranberry addict. I love them in my oatmeal, in my salads, in my cookies… you name it!
A fruit that is a mix between a plum and a cherry?? Yes please! I have yet to try this majestic fruit, but I hope it meets the high standards I have for it!
Cayenne Pepper
In my spice cabinet, I have smaller jars that I use on a regular basis. I buy larger containers of spices to be more price conscious, and fill my smaller jars when needed.
Peanut m&m’s
Another not so great choice. BUT… you know sometimes after supper when you just need one tiny thing to satisfy your sweet tooth? Peanut m and m’s always do it for me.
Member’s Mark Chicken Breasts
Member’s Mark chicken/meat is a newer product for me. I never started buying it until recently, and I was pleased with the flavor and quality! I’ve tried their chicken tenders, chicken breasts, chicken thighs, ground beef, and filet mignons. They hit it out of the park with all of them, not to mention their more than impressive prices! This nearly 7 pound pack of chicken breasts was under $18!
Guacamole
During the summer months, I could live on guacamole. I put it on chips, pretzels, burgers, tacos… there are no boundaries with me and guacamole. Sam’s Club has a few different choices when it comes to guacamole. I chose to try this brand this week, but know I love their Member’s Mark guacamole as well!
Apple Sauce | Granola Bars
Every couple of months I restock my husband’s lunch snacks, so this time I got him granola bars and GoGo Squeeze. I know, I know… why can’t a 24 year old eat applesauce from a regular container with a spoon like a proper grown-up? Well, first of all, what proper grown-up even eats apple sauce, and second of all, he says these fit in his lunch box better and are less of a hassle to eat! He may be 24, but he’s young at heart. I cherish that, so I get the guy the GoGo.
Baked Lays
A favorite in my household, I always have a bag on hand! Plus, the size and price of chips at Sam’s Club is unbeatable.
Parmesan Cheese
You may wonder, “who could eat THAT MUCH CHEESE??” Me. Me could eat that much cheese. A lot of dinners I make require parmesan cheese, and I also like to use it as a garnish for pasta dishes! In all honesty, this canister won’t last more than a month in my house.
2. Household
Napkins | Paper Towels
I love getting stocked up on household items because it means I don’t have to worry about running out or buying them any time soon. I know I’ll use them eventually, so why not get it all up front and save some money? Napkins and paper towels are generously used in my home, so having a stock of them just makes sense!
Ziploc Bags
If you haven’t read my post yet, “9 Home Organization Ideas For Unorganizable Small Spaces” go check it out! It has a plastic bag organizer from Sam’s Club that has saved me copious amounts of space in my pantry. Between using them to freeze fresh produce and for my husband’s lunches, we are always in need of Ziploc bags. This will last us months.
Mr. Clean MagicEraser | Clorox Wipes
These two cleaning supplies are a staple in my cleaning routine. If you want to read more about my cleaning secrets, read my post “18 Cleaning Essentials You Need To Make Your House Sparkle.” Mr. Clean MagicErasers have yet to disappoint me. I use them all the time in my kitchen to get off scuffs and burn marks, as well as to clean areas in the bathroom. Clorox wipes are always something I have on hand, and buying a pack of 5 at once assures me that I won’t run out any time soon!
Chargers & Accessories
We all know that when it comes to chargers, we can NEVER have enough. These chargers and accessories were under $40, and I just couldn’t leave them there! I guess it was fate, because later that same day my only charger stopped working. It was meant to be!
Lens Wipes
If you’ve never used these lens wipes, you’re missing out! They effortlessly clean lenses without causing streaks or scratches, and are in individual little packets for easy use. I use them on my sunglasses, glasses, camera, and on my phone screen.
Blood Pressure Monitor
Sam’s Club has a great selection of healthcare needs, and I scored with this blood pressure monitor! It never hurts to keep an eye on your vitals, and this was such a great deal!
Lunch Box
This lunch box was WAY TOO CUTE to pass up!! I instantly fell in love with the muted, floral pattern, and figured it would come in handy. It’s such a nice size, with room for large containers. For $25, it included the lunch box, along with a matching ice pack, water bottle, and 3 containers! My husband and I do a lot of day/weekend trips to visit family, so this will be the perfect size for bringing beverages and snacks!
3. Toiletries
Cotton Swabs
1,750 Q-tips… should last an entire year. Buying Q-tips in bulk at Sam’s will definitely save you money, and will keep you stocked for months to come!
Mouth Wash
And lastly… mouthwash. this came in a pack of 3, and will last us about 3 months.
So, there you have it! This week’s Sam’s Club haul. I hope you discovered a new item to try, and enjoyed reading this post as much as I enjoyed creating it.
